Dear AAMA Members,
As we step into October, I want to share my gratitude for those of you who took the time to participate in the recent Avenue M Survey. Your feedback is both valuable and insightful as we embark on this exciting reimagining process for our association.
This is a pivotal moment for AAMA. Together, we have the opportunity to make sure the needs of our members are at the forefront of every board decision made. When we do that, we don’t just serve our community, we become a resource that attracts new voices, empowers existing ones, and elevates our entire industry.
We also look forward to seeing many of you at IAAPA in November. It’s always an energizing time to connect and share ideas. As we head into the 4th quarter, I hope it serves as a springboard for success and growth in 2026. Until then, we welcome any additional feedback you’d like to share ahead of the Executive Board’s Strategic Planning meeting in November. Please feel free to reach out to me personally.
Thank you for being an essential part of shaping our shared future. I look forward to continuing this journey alongside you.
Warm regards,
Beth Standlee
“Madam” President, AAMA

CREATING WINNING EXPERIENCES IN THE AMUSEMENTS INDUSTRY
By Dan Gingiss
Like in almost every other industry, competing on price or product alone won't win the amusements and entertainment battle.
Whether you're a family entertainment center creating magical memories or a manufacturer developing the next must-play arcade sensation, your biggest competitive advantage lies in crafting unforgettable experiences that keep guests coming back and talking about their visit long after they leave.
As entertainment options have exploded, from streaming services to mobile gaming to social media, the bar for creating compelling real-world experiences has never been higher. Families aren't just looking for ways to kill time; they're seeking meaningful moments of connection and joy. This shift presents an incredible opportunity for savvy operators and manufacturers in the amusements industry.
