
AAMA ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS & AAMA CODE OF CONDUCT

AAMA MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY
No party shall be eligible for membership if within the five (5) years preceding the application for membership, the party, any past or present subsidiaries, parents or affiliates of the predecessors, successors or assigns of any of them or any of its past or present officers, directors, partners or owners: (1) has been convicted of a violation of any trademark or copyright law of the United States or related statutes; or (2) has entered into a plea agreement where the offense charged was a violation of any trademark or copyright law or related statute; or (3) has had a judgment entered against it in a civil suit (including, without limitation, any proceedings brought under Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930) for violation of any trademark or copyright law of the United States or related statutes; or (4) has had Coin- Operated Amusement Machines seized and-or forfeited by U.S. Customs or the Federal Bureau of Investigations for violation of a United States trademark or copyright law, for which relief from seizure and/or forfeiture has not been granted within six months.

AAMA MEMBER CODE OF CONDUCT
Members of the American Amusement Machine Association (AAMA) agree to conduct their business in an ethical, professional, respectful, and responsible manner. We do so mindful of a set of core beliefs that are a guide to ensure we engage with our members, customers and communities with fairness and integrity

We commit to ensuring our businesses meet all applicable safety standards and codes.

We conduct business and customer interactions honestly and fairly.

We comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to our businesses.

We honor all intellectual property rights of our members.

We abide and comply with the by-laws of AAMA.

We will not knowingly manufacture, sell, support, or acquire new amusement games in the United States that do not meet a standard of performance that allows a player a fair chance of succeeding with every game played.
Players can expect:

A player’s skill can improve with practice and experience.

A player’s skill influences the outcome of the game.

AAMA FEC Owner/Operators will ensure players are presented with age-appropriate amusement games.
AAMA MEMBERSHIP TERMINATION
Your AAMA membership can be revoked at any time if your company is found to be in violation of the above membership eligibility requirements and/or the AAMA Member Code of Conduct.
