 The
AAMA is committed to providing the public with diverse entertainment
choices for people of all ages. In order to help families determine what
video games are appropriate for their children, the AAMA’s Video Content
Working Group, in conjunction with Congress and various child advocacy
groups, has created the Coin-Operated Video Game Parental Advisory System.
This user-friendly system alerts players to the content of a video game by using a color-coded, traffic light approach. Brightly colored stickers with various disclosure messages are placed in the “header” of every video game so that patrons can make educated choices on what games they and their families play. |
