Player Input Connector
GND: Signal Ground
5 vdc: Current requirements vary with system.
Coin Counter: An open collector output that when activated (grounded) for a minimum of 60ms causes the coin counter mechanism to increment by one. The normal state of this output is deactivated. This output has a minimum breakdown voltage of 30Vdc, and a minimum current capacity of 1Adc.
Service: Normally open switch connected to Signal Ground that when closed for a minimum 50ms signals a credit increase request for player to the CPU board. This input is used only if a separate coin slot is required for each player.
Coin: Normally open switch connected to Signal Ground that when closed for a minimum 50ms signals a coin passing through the player coin mechanism to the CPU board.
Start: Normally open switch connected to Signal Ground that when closed for a minimum 50ms signals a player start game condition to the CPU board.
Up: Normally open switch connected to Signal Ground that signals player joystick up condition to the CPU board. In a trackball configuration this input is connected to the Horizontal Phase 1 (Direction) signal from the player trackball.
Down: Normally open switch connected to Signal Ground that signals player joystick down condition to the CPU board. In a trackball configuration this input is connected to the Horizontal Phase 2 (Clock) output from the player trackball.
Left: Normally open switch connected to Signal Ground that signals player joystick left condition to the CPU board. In a trackball configuration this input is connected to the Vertical Phase 1 (Direction) output from the player trackball.
Right: Normally open switch connected to Signal Ground that signals player joystick right condition to the CPU board. In a trackball configuration this input is connected to the Vertical Phase 2 (Clock) output from the player trackball.
Switch 1:
Switch 2:
Switch 3: Normally open switches connected to Signal Ground that are used
for system specific input for the player.
