AAMA and AMOA gathered in our nation's capital, Washington, D.C. in mid-June 2003 for a special Legislative Reception to speak with invited members of Congress to educate them on the industry's issues.

Former AAMA Chairman, (C) Ron Carrara took pride in accepting his outing Board plaque from Mike Rudowicz and Al Kress.

Elliott Portnoy, lead counsel for the AAMA addresses the attendees before their meeting with members of Congress.

The AAMA along side with its' sister associaton, AMOA, invited members of Congress to educate them on the industry's main issues and concerns. The association brought in coin-operated games such as a Simpson's pinball, Golden Tee, a MegaTouch, Ms. PacMan/Galaga, a jukebox and some gumball machines.

Although, not every state had a representative on hand, 71 senior staff officials attended along with 14 Members of Congress. That's quite a turn-out!

Members of the AAMA and AMOA took the day off to do some site seeing.

After the days events the AAMA hosted a wrap up dinner to thank all of the participants for coming and for thier support.

In 2003 the American Amusement Machine Charitable Foundation (AAMCF) raised funds through their annual holiday wreath sale, silent auction, golf outing and BIG raffle in an effort to raise funds for children's charities. New AAMA Chairman Frank Cosentino (L) and AAMCF Chairman Ron Carrara (R), present Elliott Portnoy with a check for $11,000 for his Kids Enjoy Exercise Now (K.E.E.N) organization.
