All coin door locks and cash door locks shall have a standard 7/8" barrel. Lock cams shall be straight 1-1/4 inch with a double D hole. 4/86

Jukeboxes shall have an external power switch located at the rear of the cabinet. 3/92
Jukeboxes shall have an external volume control located at the left rear of the cabinet. 3/92
All jukeboxes and coin mechanisms shall accept Canadian coins or adequately reject them so as not to cause coin jams. Coin mechs shall be mounted in machines with a quick release for easy removal. 4/86

All games shall have a handle or handgrip adequate for easy loading of the game onto a two-wheel dolly. 11/86
All monitors, PC boards, and power supplies shall be located or shielded to protect them from liquid spills in vents or holes located above the component. Shields should properly channel liquid away from components. 11/86
Jukebox serial numbers shall be located on the rear top(external), at least one affixed internal, one in the electronics, and one on a major internal component. 3/92
All machines shipped within the United States shall comply with FCC requirements as outlined in the FCC Rules and Regulations, Volume 2, Part 15, subpart J. Volume 2, part 2, subpart J. Volume 2, part 2, subparts I and J. 11/87

All video games, pinballs, and kits shipped within the United States shall have mechanical meters or taps provided for operator installation of meters. 11/87

Manufacturers will provide availability of custom parts for a period of 5 years on dedicated pieces and 3 years on kits. All unique and/or unusual parts for any game shall be stocked in the U.S. upon the game's release and promptly made available. 5/88
All games shall have settings allowing one or more of the coin acceptors to be set for accepting a dollar coin. On games with two or more coin entries, settings should allow for one entry to remain on quarter acceptance. 5/88
All games shall include the following in their operator adjustable price options, including a "free play" option;

All games shall include programmable play values to allow for a minimum of 1,2,3,4... coins for initial game play; 1,2,3,4... coins for additional players; and 1,2,3,4... coins for play continuation.

This standard shall be reviewed so as not to require more than two sets of DIP switches.

All manufacturers of coin return buttons and bezels shall stamp their name or identifying mark on the item so operators can determine who makes these products. 5/90

Each pinball manufacturer shall supply as an option, a harness for the direct hookup of a bill acceptor unit. 5/90
All machines shipped within the United States shall be listed by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory for compliance with the Standard for Amusement and Gaming Machines, ANSI/UL 22 or ARL 523 or appropriate standard. 3/94
