In an effort to promote the industry on a domestic level, the Industry Promotion Committee works hard seeking out new programs which enable our members to expose their product(s) to the general public. One of AAMA's biggest member benefit programs is the Location Trade Show Program. How does the Location Trade Show Program work? The AAMA purchases several booths at shows such as, Bowl Expo, The National Restaurant Show, IAAPA and ATEI in London! We then offer our members $500.00 OFF their booth spaces! Member companies receive a prime location on the trade show floor within the AAMA pavilion. Not only does the AAMA pavilion make a bigger impact than a company exhibiting on their own; but more times than none, the AAMA often receives great locations within the show itself. By actively participating in different domestic trade shows, the AAMA insures the exposure for coin-operated amusement equipment to a variety of industries where coin-op may be used to generate increased location income. Finally, Industry Promotion efforts include the creation of up-to-date sales tools such as videos, brochures as well as our newly revamped website. Recently, the AAMA began publishing its' annual Membership Directory. Each member is entitled to a FREE listing. Every association has its own directory, however, what makes AAMA's Directory unique is the fact that we utilize it as a marketing piece as well. The AAMA distributes the directory at each and every Location Trade Show we participate in. Those members who choose to advertise in our directory is given yet another medium to get their company in front of thousands! Overall, the Industry Promotion Committee does a wonderful job insuring that the association designates an overall positive image for the industry. |
