Nominating Committee

The members of the AAMA Board of Directors are elected by their peers to serve a three-year term. Every year, elections are held in conjunction with the AAMA’s Annual Meeting to fill the vacancies created by departing members. The Nominating Committee is responsible for overseeing the nominations of qualified individuals to the Board of Director.

Like all Americans, our hearts and prayers go out to the victims and the families of Newtown and victims of violence everywhere.

Policy makers have chosen to take action and we at the AAMA welcome a continued dialogue with them about the role of coin operated games in society.

The Coin Operated Industry today has a vigorous Parental Advisory System (PAS) that educates parents about the content of various games, using an easy to follow color-coded system.

We also have established a Code of Conduct which includes guidelines for which our industry's manufacturers, distributors, developers and operators should follow to ensure the PAS is fully implemented.

As policy makers address the difficult questions surrounding violence in America, we at the AAMA look forward to playing an active and constructive role.
